I'm back from Arizona and ready to pod! Yea, man...weddings are awesome right? I always thought I would be bitter after my divorce, but I'm not...I still enjoy weddings especially for people I love. This episode I share with you the "Key" my grandmother (Beatrice) shared with me before she passed. It's something I never forgot and I wanted to share it here with you. I was recently asked for book recommendations from a friend of mine and after talking a bit, I felt like "The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz would be the best fit. While working out today, I started thinking about this book and one of the Agreements. That Agreement was "Be Impeccable with your Word". I thought back to being an 8-9 year old kid when twice that I can remember someone let me down and didn't keep their promise or commitment to me and how that affected me. Obviously more than I thought, after all I am pushing 47...

This episode is simple. I heard a phrase on a podcast I listen to called: The Sean & Sax Show and boy did it resonate. "I am not afraid of new love, I am afraid of old pain". Boom! Yes...that is what this episode is about as I talk about my personal struggles with that.
