Keep Ballin Sixers….
They tried to cancel your season twice before it even started. Then tried to cancel it a third time. Last year not enough interest to build a full team and no coach. Year prior the pandemic ruined it…

Then after battling all of that you were projected to finish last and win “0” games this season. The Sixers are too young, inexperienced and are a JV team competing in the Varsity Division.

Well, you didn’t finish last…you finished in 4th place out of 6 teams. You also didn’t lose every game; you won 5. So the naysayers were wrong about you. They didn’t know how much heart you had in you. They didn’t realize how determined this young team was.

Not only did you not finish last or lose every game but you were 2nd in the West Valley League in team stolen bases with 165 total. That’s 10.3 stolen bases per game. So, when you did get on base, you were a problem.

Last but not least…you turned the only triple play of the year in our league and it was against the first place team. Sequence: 1-2-3-2 Be Proud Boys!

More importantly, you revived baseball for the school again, got others interested in playing and built a foundation that we can now build on for the future. Hold your heads high, I’m proud of you and God willing if I am back…we’ll giver a go again…keep ballin Sixers! #gosixers
