They say catchers make the best coaches and I’m raising two right now.

Along this baseball journey we’ve not only learned to play the game at a high level, but also build a strong baseball IQ.

Whenever I can, I try and teach my boys how to coach a game and or prep for a game.

Jordan was coaching 1B today but prior to game one starting, I was teaching him how to create spray charts for the opposing team. Trust me, it’s a process but it’s well worth it.

When he isn’t playing his other coaches get him involved in pitch calling and more…his IQ is so much better than mine was at his age.
