We mourn and remember 9/11 every year it comes around.-But what I wish we would celebrate is the unity we had on 9/12.-The division in our country today is killing us.-We’ve become our own worst enemy and drawn a line between each other that outsiders would never honor.-To them, we are all Americans…and when they strike, they don’t ask questions…-One day we’ll understand that even in our differences we are all on the same team in times like these.-As I’ve gotten older my pride in this country has grown stronger.-This year I wanted to honor those who lost their lives...

Breaking a sweat like this takes intense work and is hard.-You know what’s harder?-Dealing with the amount of sweat your going to feel walking out of the doctors office when they’ve told you your going to die if you don’t start taking care of yourself.-The amount of fear, panic and sweat after that would surpass this any day of the week and twice on Sunday.-Listen, and you listen very close.-You choose your hard.-You either get up and do the hard shit so life is easier when it gets difficult.-Or you stay comfortable, lazy and content and HARD will choose you.-And...

Peace in your life is attainable.-But oddly enough, often times peace is only attainable through aggressive means.-Standing up, not backing down, fighting for your values and losing things/people along the way.-That may go over your head…but listen closely…-A peaceful man isn’t always a safe man.-Sometimes a peaceful man is a dangerous man, one capable of violence in the name of peace for himself and his family.-That isn’t always understood by most folks.-But rest assured, it should be respected.-Have a peaceful day, God Bless.

I used to paint for the wrong reasons years ago…28 years ago to be exact. But something strange happened recently…-I’ve found peace in painting and restoring furniture.-It’s almost akin to the release I get when I go to the gym…-I know that’s an odd comparison, but follow me.-When I paint, and bring a new piece back to life I feel accomplished.-When I see the smile on someone’s face who purchases it from me and loves the work it’s rewarding.-I’ve had some bad days, came home picked up a brush and almost instantly I feel better.-I’m thankful for yet another positive...
